In other news, Olivia decided that instead of a nap she was going to sneak the balmex again and paint all over her sheets, feet and hands. I must say, the amusement I have found in the past in such instances was significantly diminished. Later the dumb squirrel further decimated my pumpkin. And lastly, Liv and I both missed mommy today a bit. Only a few more days and its already a month since she died. That feels weird.
Olivia also had another milestone yesterday…….
Her very first hair cut and Lollie pop!
Well Miss Olivia had a day didn’t she? She is so beautiful Darren!
Yes! Mommy(and wife) will be missed Darren but that is part of the process so it’s ok….I think you are both doing great!
We continue to left you both up and prayer, I hope you have a great day with your family after church, that is such an important time being with family and loved ones.
Loved those dinners after church, brings back great times with your Mom and I as kids….
God Bless darren,
Love Pam and Family
Great shots! I was wondering if you did weddings…
Balmex again, huh? That is one of the hardest things I have faced as a parent of a toddler. They do something once, and it’s funny. They do it again, not so much. I don’t know how to react sometimes.
If that was a spring wedding, I’m 99% certain I ran past that wedding on the boardwalk in Bradley Beach!! I hugged the rail to keep my sweaty self out of the pictures
– too funny! I love your photography, Darren, I’m so glad you share it…nicole
Olivia is just a doll. I can imagine the balmex is becoming less amusing!! LOL…The stuff these kids do. Much love to you and Olivia…
Wow! I just looked at your wedding shots. You are an amazing photog! I wish I had that eye. My poor pics of Em, well, are cute because she is in them, but obviously taken by someone who doesn’t know what they are doing. LOL
Darren,
Sweet little Olivia, I remember those balmex days when my kids and grandkids were Olivia’s age. Today I can look back on those days with smiles and chuckles. (By the way – I have two great-grandkids on the way, not from Kathi and Tim but from her brother and Melissa (due in April 09) and from her cousin Bobby and Lindsay (due in May 09). Pray for these babies and their parents.
Darren, if I recall correctly tomorrow you will be heading back to work at Ft Monmouth. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you start to get back into that routine.
Beth
The pictures are REALLY BEAUTIFUL! Thank you SO much! You have no idea how much we appreciate it!
Thinking of you and Olivia….
We are all praying for you and hope you are getting some rest.
In Him,
Kerry
