a memory
November 17, 2008I just finished packing and paying bills. It’s 3:51am and the car picks me up in about 10 minutes to head to the airport. At least the flight is 5 hrs so I can some sleep.
Anyway, no time for writing, but I got a letter today from an old friend. This picture was in the letter. It was taken at his wedding quite a while back. Misty has a funny face cause she was singing to me as we danced. I had long hair because I was a rock star in college
Anyway, I was pretty happy to get this in the mail so many years later (Thanks Carl). I do miss my girl.

Hey bro .. God bless you and also may He bless your project and your life .. sounds like you been keeping yourself busy and that is good .. you are in my thoughts everyday and i read your post daily just to kind of check up on you .. you and the little one are in my prayers .. also keep the memories fresh they are warning to the heart .. you guys look good and happy and those are good memories to reflect on and it sounds like Carl is a good friend to think of you like this .. once again God bless .. Tbone out
That is the most amazing picture. God is so faithful to work through His people, to remind us that He is ever present, and He knows the depths of our hearts.
Misty is SO beautiful. I love this photo. You two look so in love in it. Thanks for sharing it.
I knew she was singing before you even said it…you can tell she has a special spirit.
This picture speaks love…. She was your perfect fit.
What a precious gift from your friend Carl! Misty is beautiful and all her photographs show the depth of her beauty.
I listened to your presentation on Anthem of Hope this morning. I trust you had a great meeting Saturday. I cannot put into words how thankful I am that God has called you to do this. Sharing your journey with all those who have followed already has prepared many to bring hope to the physically ill rather than to just sit by and accept the circumstances. I look forward to having this peace that surpasses all understanding available to share with those who are suffering and need help hearing the hope to which we are called and ministered to by God. I thank God for all my brothers and sisters in Christ who have lifted me up time and time again when I was weary.
I love when God reveals his truths to us…
For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10
He gave you the name Anthem of Hope in preparation for what He has for you to do! Please keep us up-to-date on prayer needs as they arise. Prayer is our power to keep the enemy out and the glory of God in.
God bless you. Praying continuously. Brenda
What a beautiful gift!
You two have a deep connection, it definitely shows in this picture.

So very Beautiful!! Have a safe trip!!!
XOXO,
Tracey
So gorgeous. God has a wonderful way of knowing how to show us he cares for us. You need to go to bed earlier, Mr. Rockstar. 3:51 and no bed yet??? Wow.
Hey Darren, that is such a sweet picture, thanks for sharing. It is so thoughtful of you to do that. I am praying for the AoH and you and little Liv, always will. We were all Rock Stars at one time or another, back in the day we rocked (smile) my hair was down to my hips and Russ’s to his shoulders, now that was a while ago
Love you, Gail
You still are a rockstar.
Such a sweet picture! That was nice of Carl to send that to you. Thanks for sharing a precious memory.
I just love this photo Darren, it really is special and shows the depth of love you both had and have for each other.
Love you,
Lavenia
darren, you had long hair because you were ridiculous in college, not a rock star.
